目前从事嵌入式软件与系统相关工作，平时和 Linux、驱动、网络、硬件，以及越来越多的 AI 工具打交道。
这个 Blog 主要用来记录一些我真正想弄明白的问题。
我对技术本身感兴趣，但通常更在意技术背后的机制：一个系统为什么会被设计成现在这样，它受到哪些现实约束，又会怎样改变人的行为。这样的兴趣也经常从软件和 AI 延伸到经济、制度、城市、历史、游戏设计，以及日常生活中的基础设施。
因此这里的文章可能跨度很大：有时是 Linux 内核和 AI Agent，有时是宏观经济与公共政策，有时只是讨论游戏里的随机数、排队规则，或者一艘集装箱船为什么能够横跨世界。
这些主题在我看来并没有那么遥远。它们往往都可以回到一些相似的问题：
信息如何流动？规则如何塑造行为？系统如何处理有限资源、不确定性与失败？
我喜欢从具体问题开始，一层层向下追问，而不是急着得到一个立场明确的结论。这里的很多文章也是如此——它们更像是一份公开的思考记录，而不是最终答案。
我并不认为这里的判断一定正确。相反，写作对我而言很大程度上是一种整理思路、暴露漏洞，并保存思考过程的方式。
如果你也喜欢研究那些日常存在、却很少被认真拆解的系统，希望这里能有一些值得继续思考的东西。

Hi, I'm Jay.
I currently work on embedded software and systems, spending much of my time around Linux, device drivers, networking, hardware, and an increasing number of AI tools.
This blog is mainly a place to document questions I genuinely want to understand.
I am interested in technology itself, but even more interested in the mechanisms behind it: why a system is designed the way it is, what constraints shape it, and how its rules eventually influence human behavior. That curiosity often extends beyond software and AI into economics, institutions, cities, history, game design, and the infrastructure we interact with every day.
As a result, the topics here can vary quite widely. One article may be about the Linux kernel or AI agents, another about macroeconomics or public policy, while another may simply ask how randomness should work in a game, why queues exist, or how a container ship can move goods across the world.
To me, these subjects are not as unrelated as they may first appear. Many of them eventually lead back to a similar set of questions:
How does information flow? How do rules shape behavior? How do systems deal with scarce resources, uncertainty, and failure?
I prefer starting from a concrete question and following it layer by layer, rather than rushing toward a definitive position. Many posts here should therefore be read as public notes from an ongoing thought process, rather than as final answers.
I do not assume that the conclusions here are always correct. Writing, for me, is partly a way to organize ideas, expose weaknesses in my reasoning, and preserve how a line of thought developed over time.
